Privacy

The short version: the timer itself collects nothing about you. Advertising does use cookies, and you can turn the personalised part of that off.

Who this is

PomoLife is run by one person at pomolife.co. If you have a question about anything on this page, email pomolife.app@gmail.com.

What the timer collects

Nothing. There is no account, no login, and no database. The whole thing is a single page that runs in your browser. Your rounds, your puzzles, the time you have focused and which character is sitting under the tree are held in the page’s memory while the tab is open, and disappear the moment you close it. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and we could not look it up if we wanted to.

We do not set cookies of our own, and we do not run analytics.

If that changes, this page changes first. If analytics or any other measurement is ever added, it will be named here before it goes live.

Fonts

The site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. That request tells Google’s servers your IP address and browser, as any request to any server does. Google describes how it handles that in its own privacy policy.

Advertising

PomoLife carries advertising to stay free. Adverts are served by Google AdSense.

Age

PomoLife is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them, which is straightforward here, because we do not collect anything from anyone. In some countries the age at which you can consent to data processing is higher, up to 16. If you are below it, please ask a parent or guardian before using sites that carry advertising.

If you email us

Your message and email address sit in an inbox so the conversation can happen, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. They are not added to any mailing list and are not passed to anyone else.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, and to complain to a regulator. In practice we hold no personal data about visitors, so for most people there is nothing to request. If you have emailed us, those rights apply to that correspondence. Write to pomolife.app@gmail.com.

In the UK the regulator is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Other sites

Links and adverts may take you elsewhere. Once you leave, this policy stops applying and theirs begins.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
